Please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting on these days.

Traffic: Columbia County Blasting Planned

June 10, 2008

WNRR Augusta – (Colco Press Release)

Message from Kay Allen…

Dynamite blasting will occur for the next two weeks in the High Meadows Subdivision area, off Chamberlin Road . The first blast will occur tomorrow (June 10th) around 1:00 P.M.  There will be 4 shots in all. We will notify you when each of these additional shots will take place. This activity will probably not be heard since restrictions require commercial blasters to keep both the noise and impact to a very low level.
