South Augusta Train Derailment

WNRR Augusta – Newsradio 1230 is learning more about a train derailment that happened on Goshen Plantation Road overnight in South Augusta. Authorities confirm that 3 of the train’s cars left the tracks. One was empty, and two contained Sodium Chloride (Table Salt). It is unsure what caused the accident, or if weather played a factor. No injuries are being reported.
