Coliseum Reform Passes Senate (Updated)

WNRR Augusta – WNRR reported first today that Georgia Senators have passed a bill that would overhaul the Augusta-Richmond County Coliseum Authority. The measure passed 53-0. Sen. Ed Tarver says the Bill goes now back to the house for a final vote.  Some members of the local legislative delegation have opposed the plan, and another attempt to kill the idea may arise. Tarver says 3 of the 5 members must agree for the Bill to pass. Then, it is expected to go to the Governor for a final signature.
