‘James Brown Camera’ To Debut First Friday

WNRR Augusta – Playfully nicknamed ‘Soul Cam’ a digital automated tourist camera over the James Brown Statue will be unveiled Friday May 2nd. The camera allows a cell phone user to dial a free number, and activate the camera to take a single picture of them posing with the statue. The image is then available for download from the City’s Arts Council website. The camera Will be available for use starting Friday evening, officials tell WNRR Radio. The James Brown statue is located between 8Th and 9Th streets, across from the Augusta Common Downtown.
